IMPORTANT: Lichfield Squash Club Membership Renewals 2026/27

Dear Members,

It’s that time of year again when we ask you to renew your membership of Lichfield Squash Club.

We’ve deliberately held back slightly this year because September was such a busy month for the Club, culminating in another successful Lichfield Squash Festival. From this year onwards, we are therefore making a permanent change to our membership year, which will now run from 1 November to 31 October.

Your current membership will remain active throughout October, so there will be no interruption to your access.

Membership fees for 2026/27

Following a review of the Club’s finances and increasing running costs, we have decided to make a modest increase in the annual adult membership fee for 2026/27.

Adult Membership: £30
Junior/Student Membership: £5

We have deliberately kept Junior/Student membership at just £5 as we want to continue making it as easy and affordable as possible for younger players to get involved in squash.

Even at £30, we believe adult membership continues to represent excellent value for a full year’s membership and helps us to maintain the Club on a sound financial footing while continuing to develop the activities we provide.

You can renew straight away. MyCourts will shortly send you a separate renewal email containing a personalised link. Simply click the link, complete the renewal form and follow the payment instructions through Stripe.

As last year, we are also offering an incentive for adult members who renew promptly.

Renew your adult membership by 30 November 2026 and we will add £10 of MyCourts court credit to your account.

You still pay the normal £25 membership fee, but the £10 credit can then be used towards future court or event bookings.

Pro-rata rebates for newer members

We also recognise that some members joined part-way through the 2025/26 membership year and may only recently have paid their initial subscription.

As we did last year, we will therefore provide an additional pro-rata rebate to adult members according to the month in which they joined:

November 2025 — £2
December 2025 — £4
January 2026 — £6
February 2026 — £8
March 2026 — £10
April 2026 — £12
May 2026 — £14
June 2026 — £16
July 2026 — £18
August 2026 — £20
September 2026 — £22

These rebates will also be provided as MyCourts court credit.

So, for example, an adult member who joined in June and renews by 30 November would receive their £16 pro-rata rebate plus the £10 early-renewal credit.

Please note that the £10 renewal incentive and pro-rata rebates apply to adult paid memberships only.

Junior Squash Academy players who receive free junior membership do not need to do anything — their memberships will be renewed automatically. We will also deal separately with our other non-paying membership categories, including coaches, school staff and associate members.

Please therefore keep an eye out for your MyCourts renewal email , which should arrive shortly. It will contain the link you need to complete your renewal.

And remember, although the new membership year does not begin until 1 November, you can renew immediately.
