Lichfield Squash Club News - June 2023

Hi all

It has been an extremely busy time at the Club, especially as we prepare to deliver our first ever formal coaching programmes, funded by the B2022 Sport England Fund.

For this reason, this newsletter will take on a different format, as I don't have the time to compile all the items in the usual way ...

1. Club News

We have recently introduced a new way of reporting Club news via our website using a clever plug-in that we have installed. This allows us to simply pull in stories published on our Facebook page and display these on our website news page.

As we regularly update the Facebook page with news items as they happen, this kills two birds with one stone and means we don't have to post things twice in different places.

I therefore recommend you check this page on a regular basis to keep abreast of the latest Club news.

2. B2022 Coaching Programmes

As mentioned, most of our efforts over the past month have been directed at getting these new f ree of charge coaching programmes off the ground.

We start this Wednesday, with an after school programme for King Edward VI school students.

Next week, we will then commence our adult programmes: SQUASH START for beginners, returners and improvers and SQUASH ELEVATE for more experienced players, from intermediate level to more advanced.

The SQUASH START course is now full but there are still a few places left on SQUASH ELEVATE. Just drop me an email to info@lichfieldsquashclub.co.uk or Phone/Text/Whatsapp 07816 620504 if you are interested.
